“Voices of History”
(Sr. Mariette Moan, ASCJ/John Tricoli)

The NCVR is ever mindful of the contributions of past presidents in the evolution of the Conference to what it is today and to the role that it plays on behalf of the bishops of the United States toward men and women who are living consecrated life.  In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, the NCVR embarked on a unique project called “Voices of History” featuring the reflections of our past presidents.  They share with us the areas of growth in our Church, in consecrated life and in our Conference which give us all cause for gratitude and they highlight new challenges and developments as sources of great hope as we move forward into our future.

We are grateful to the following past presidents who have contributed to the “Voices of History” project:

Most Rev. Joseph Galante

Fr. Angela Caligiuri

Br. Kevin Smith, OSF
Sr. Nola Brunner, CSJ

Sr. Marlene Weisenbeck, FSPA

Sr. Maryann Seton Lopiccolo, SC

Sr. Eymard Flood, OSC
